Superbowl/housechurch

Friends,
Who's excited for million dollar commercials, a showdown between horses and bears, little smokies, and six packs of soda? Yes, as Darren rightly pointed out it is superbowl sunday which we seemed to overlook last wk. So a party it will be, "celebrating the kingdom come" by being "in" the world of sweaty athletes and alot of testosterone. If that doesn't do it for you, Matt will be leading a yoga session in our front room to the new "smerfs" record he got.
Nah, in all seriousness it'll be a great time together...Abby, was it you who volunteered to do cooking? If so, let us know what you're bringing and we'll all contribute other party food and drink. So the best way to do this is to email what you're bringing, so then we don't end up with 12 packages of little smokies, as tasty as tha'd be.
Kickoff is @ 5:24 if I did my math correctly...the countdown is at the top of www.superbowl.com if you're bored at work and want to double-check. Trickle in the door beforehand, 3ish? Jayme suggested food/story/superbowl, and I think that'll work. Liz, did you want to tell your story?

I couldn't make a freaking comment if my life depended on it

I tried to make a comment on matt's "teddy bear meets jesus meets horse" post but it just did not work and then I got facklemped and made the title of my post sound angsty...or something. Anyhow. Billy left a message on my phone the other day saying that Liz would perhaps like to tell her story this Sunday but alas, I do not have her number so someone would have to contact her if we wanted to do the story thang. Maybe we should do food/story/superbowl this Sunday...What'dya think?
